Bird Feeders

it's hard to believe we've gone from this...

 

 to this...(in about two weeks)

 

so we stayed in on the first day of snow and painted our bird feeders. 

We took two plastic 2L milk jugs and I cut a hole on each side.

I dished up the acrylic paints, sanded the milk jugs (cut edges to smooth, walls to rough up)

and covered the kids in garbage bags to protect there clothes. 

and the finished product....

 

the kids loved it! I think paint supplies and an easel are in request for christmas!
